Privacy policy

Effective October 26, 2026. ICPanicLogTool is published by Alex Smart Tech, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use icpaniclogtool.com, including the free panic log analyzer and the Repair Bench Journal.

The analyzer runs locally

Panic logs you analyze are processed in your own browser. Your .ips file's contents, filename, the evidence quotes in your report, and the full report itself stay on your device. Selecting a file does not upload its contents to our servers.

Limited anonymous diagnostics

To improve the tool, we store anonymous usage data plus a limited diagnostic summary when an analysis runs: recognized codes, controlled event and warning flags, returned rule IDs, scores, confidence, supported watchdog services and counters, and completion status. We also count visits and checks by approximate country and U.S. state. We do not store IP addresses in these analytics.

Optional reviewed excerpts

If no rule matches your log, you may separately review a short diagnostic excerpt and choose to send it for private review. Nothing is sent without that explicit choice, and the review step exists so you can remove anything identifying before sending. Please strip customer names, numbers, and other personal details from anything you share.

We use Google AdSense to serve ads on this site. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Third-party ad vendors and networks may also use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to measure ad performance. We do not control those cookies; the vendors' own privacy policies govern them.
